Glimpses from the Past is a painting which depicts Oman and its traditional elements. Especially the traditional doors, pots and mud walls which are present in many places in Oman.
We can also see glimpses of the ancient Bat tombs of Ibri, the fort walls and other elements. The colors used here also add to the earthy ancient atmosphere that is typical of Omani villages. THe blue and brown are also symbolic of the sea and mountains which are natural to Oman.
